    Rachel Laird Scholarship Applications

    Applications for the Rachel Laird Scholarship, which is awarded to a student who demonstrates exceptional commitment to activities and student leadership at Conant High School, are available in the Main Office or Team Rooms and are due by Friday, April 27, to Mr. Langer’s Office.

    Chinese Speech Winners

    Four students participated in the Midwest Chinese Speech Contest this weekend. Charles Lin won a Bronze medal, Labdhi Jain and Brooke Becker won a Silver medal, and Grace Park won a Gold. Congratulations!

    Boys Tennis Winners

    Boys Tennis remains undefeated after posting shutout wins over Elk Grove and Hoffman last week. On Saturday, they took the title at the eight team Latin Invite. Read more…

    Co-Ed Cheerleading Open Gym

    CO-ED Cheerleading open gyms continue this week! ALL athletes (MALES & FEMALES) are welcome. Come be a part of a CO-ED and successful tradition here at Conant!

    Girls Water Polo Winners

    Congratulations to the Girls Water Polo Team who clinched the MSL West Championship and will play for the Conference championship, May 3, against Hersey. Good luck this week!

    District 211 Moonwaltz Film Fest

    The District 211 Moonwaltz Film Fest will be held this Thursday, April 26, in the Palatine High School auditorium beginning at 7:00pm.  Come check out dozens of student made films and animations.

    Free Movie Night

    Latinos Unidos will be hosting a Free Movie Night premiering “Coco” this Friday, April 27, at 7:30pm in the Media Center. All donations will go to Cougars in Need. See you there!

    International Fair

    Day of Silence

    SAGA is hosting a DAY OF SILENCE this Friday, April 27.  It is a student-led national event which brings attention to anti-LGBT name-calling, bullying, and harassment in schools. Students will take a vow of silence to illustrate the silencing effect of bullying and harassment on LGBT students and those perceived to be. Join us in the Cafeteria on Thursday, April 26, to learn more and how to participate and not disrupt education.

    Prom Tickets For Sale

    Purchase tickets for Prom at the Prom Fair on Saturday, April 28, in the cafeteria.  Seniors ONLY from 8:30am -10:00am; seniors and juniors from 10:00am-12:00pm.

    Library Due Dates

    Any material checked out by seniors is due to the library by Friday, May 4. The due date for all materials is Friday, May 11.

    Conant Art Expo

    This Thursday, April 26, during lunch hours come to the atrium to check out over 50 Conant students displaying and creating artwork at the CHS Art Expo.

    Open Mic Night

    Conant’s Open Mic Night, Voices, will take place on Thursday, April 26, at 6:30pm in the Media Center. The cost is only $3 and wristbands can be purchased at the door that night. We are looking for a few more performers to sing, play an instrument, read their poetry, tell jokes and more. Read more…

    The Conant Spring Art Show awards and reception are this Wednesday, April 25, at the Schaumburg Township District Library starting at 6:00pm. See an art teacher for more details.
