Summer School Catalog

First Semester:  Wednesday, May 31 – Wednesday, June 21
*Mandatory attendance on June 21
No school on Fridays:  June 2, June 9, June 16

Second Semester:  Thursday, June 22 – Tuesday, July 18
*Mandatory attendance on July 18
No school on Fridays:  June 23, June 30, July 7, July 14
No school on July 3 and 4

Registration Information

Online:

First Semester Registration
Online registration begins April 10 at 7:00 a.m. for all current freshmen, sophomores and  juniors at CHS, SHS and HEHS and closes at 3:00 p.m. on May 30.

Online registration begins April 12 at 7:00 a.m. for all current freshmen, sophomores and juniors at PHS and FHS and closes at 3:00 p.m. on May 30.

Second Semester Registration
Online registration begins April 10 at 7:00 a.m . for current freshmen, sophomores and  juniors at CHS, SHS, and HEHS and closes at 3:00 p.m. on June 21.

Online registration begins April 12 at 7:00 a.m. for all current freshmen, sophomores and juniors at PHS and FHS and closes at 3:00 p.m. on June 21.

Incoming Freshmen Summer School Registration
Summer School registration begins April 17 for all incoming freshmen. All registration hours and closing dates apply. Registration must be completed at the school the student will attend in the fall.
INCOMING FRESHMEN MUST CONTACT A COUNSELOR BEFORE REGISTRATION  CAN  BE COMPLETED .

Walk-in:

All registration dates apply.  Current and  incoming District 211 students must register at their home high school with their counselor.

Parochial school students who live in High School District 211 boundaries may register for academic classes at the Administration Center on the first day of registration.

Out-of-District Students — Register on May 26 and May 30 at:  Township High School District 211, G.A. McElroy Administration Center, 1750 South Roselle Road  in Palatine. Out-of-District students are not eligible to register for camps.

Walk-in Summer School Registration Hours:

Conant High School – 8:00 a.m . – 3:30 p.m.

How:

After students have met with their counselor and have made course selections, registration can be completed for students at the high school they will attend during the 2017-2018 school year OR online. Online payment is available for District 211 families by using the Infinite Campus Parent Portal found on your child’s home school website. Online payment can be made with Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express.  Parents desiring to complete registration online may do so by using the same username and password that has been previously provided. Walk-in and online registrations must adhere to deadlines as stated. Payment for walk-in registrations may be done by cash, check, or credit card.

Transportation:

Students who pay in person for transportation will receive atemporary bus pass upon payment at the school where they register. If payment for transportation is made online, parents will be notified via email when a route has been assigned. The student then needs to see their counselor to get a temporary bus pass. A permanent bus pass will be issued to eligible students on the first day of attendance.
