When you bring in your current iPad along with the brick and cord, you will be given a new iPad. Your iPad needs to be in good condition with no damage. If there is damage to the device, you will be charged accordingly and until that obligation is met, you will not be given a new iPad. Depending on the damage and the number of repairs done, your deductible may differ. If you have any damage to the iPad, you are strongly encouraged to take care of it prior to scheduled exchange dates (see below).
In order to speed up the exchange process, back up your Notability notes and any other data that you want to keep (ie. photos and videos) prior to coming in. Below are the directions on how to back up your notes and photos. We will not be able to assist you with any backups at the time of exchange. If you need assistance in backing up your file, you will need to come in on another day designated to give you additional assistance.
Please note that if you do not come during your assigned time, you will have to wait until all of the assigned scheduled students pick up first. If you ask for any additional assistance with anything beyond exchange, you will be asked to come back on Friday.

All students, including incoming freshmen, have received this year’s summer reading list. Reading a book from the list is a requirement, and students are assessed on their completion of the book at the start of the new school year. The purpose of summer reading is to prevent summer learning loss by continuing literacy and analysis skills. While public libraries and the Conant library do have copies of the books, we recommend purchasing a book through a local or online bookstore. Please consider a used book as a money-saving strategy. All summer, students can tweet about the books with hashtag #chssummerreading and #ConantCougars. They can also join our Schoology group using code N9GVQ-4KP66 for discussing books with peers and teachers.
